Raised in Houston’s 5th Ward area, Just Brittany discovered early on that her passion for music would drive her to pursue her dreams as an entertainer. Inspired by the influences of her mother, gospel legend Yolanda Adams, Beyonce’, and Lana Del Rey, JB refined her talents, creating her own unique sound. While music fueled Just Brittany's creative gene, she also made academics a priority. She excelled throughout her entire grade school career, and even served as her class valedictorian graduating at the age of 16.
After graduation, Just Brittany shifted her focus to her music career. Her tastes in music and ambition connected her with Christopher Moore of The Narrators. After reaching out to the local writer/producer, Just Brittany hit the studio to record what would soon become the hit single that launched her career.
"Call Me 4 Dat Good" would prove Just Brittany as a fresh face that everyone should be acquainted with. Her single & buzz began to grow within the regional nightlife scene. This spotlight caught the attention of Brian "Birdman" Williams and landed her a deal with Cash Money Records.
Just Brittany's musical catalog is one that has shown continuous growth. Her debut project Not Just A Pretty Face included singles "Color" and "Slumber Party" proving she was no one-hit-wonder. Her Queen of H-Town (1&2) mixtapes showcased JB's growth as a writer and vocalist, as well Asher sharp word play and lyrical ability. QOHT deemed Just Brittany as a force to be reckoned with.
